The cast & crew of Henry Street Horrors would like to thank everyone who has visited our haunt over the years. Sadly, we are no longer able to continue with our event. We will also no longer be hosting the Mick Day event. We have had many great years in this community & will cherish all of the memories that we have made together during that time. Thank you for your support!
Mick Day will be this weekend October 18th. As always, one of the most popular events for Mick Day is the costume judging contest. Your child can attend Mick Day at any time & is not required to wear a costume, but if you want to take part in the costume contest you will want to be there at the proper time. This year the times for the costume contest are:
- 0-3 yrs old – 1:30pm
- 3-5 yrs old – 2:00pm
- 6-8 yrs old – 2:30 pm
- 9 & up 3pm
There will be prizes for the winners of each age group. Your child should be in costume & at the stage area 10-15 min before their age is judged. There will be announcements throughout the park when each age group is about to start.
We always enjoy seeing all the great creative costumes year after year & look forward to seeing what your children are dressed as this year. Hope to see you there!
Sadly, due to a lack of help, Henry Street Horrors will not be open for the 2015 season. The cast & crew of Henry Street Horrors are planning on taking this year off to reorganize, re-energize & recruit so that we can hopefully come back in 2016 & put on a great haunted house.
The Mick Day event that we have been putting on for the last 6 years will still take place on October 18th, but will not feature the haunted house walk-through.
We need volunteers if this haunted house is to remain up & running. If you are interested in becoming a cast member for next year you can fill out the form on our How to Join page & we will be in contact with you.
The 2014 haunted house season is nearly over. Halloween is upon us which means there will be just one more chance for you to visit the 2014 Henry Street Horrors haunted house. Please join us tonight from 7-11PM as we celebrate Halloween.
Remember to leave a review of the haunted house, so we can use that information when we are designing & building the 2015 haunted house. You will also be eligible to win tickets to the 2015 haunted house.
Hope to see you there tonight!
Henry Street Horrors will be open this Friday & Saturday night (10/24 & 10/25) from 7-11PM. This weekend is usually our busiest time, so we ask that our guests please have patience while waiting to get in the haunted house. We would also like to remind everyone about our reviewer rewards program which could get you free tickets to next year’s haunted house. If you have been through the haunted house already this year please leave us a review & let us know what you thought, but please do not spoil upcoming scares for your friends if you plan on visiting us again before the year is over.
We would like to thank everyone who came out to Mick Day this year. This day is very important to many of the cast & crew & having a great turn out really warms our hearts. Mick Huxtable was a father, husband, brother, son & friend to many of us & having his community come out & help us celebrate his life & legacy means more to us than words can say. Year after year we have had such great support from our community & we intend to keep this event going as long as we can. Thanks again for everyone in this community who has supported this event over the years.
